...couldn't be complete without some Star Wars going on...

Jerry taught a class about encouragement...so as a group we wrote a letter of encouragement to a couple who has meant a great deal to us all...Sue and Jeff...

...we shared our part of the letter...

...and everyone signed it.

Michael taught a class about our vision...both classes were great!
We spent lots of time with very special people...

Some folks got a "new look"...

There was some talent that was shared...

Charles sang for us too!

Mostly there was alot of caring, sharing and loving one another and that is what made it such a very special weekend.

OK, so I'm a little behind...we have been pretty busy for the last couple of weeks and I just haven't stopped long enough to get this posted...sorry!! This first picture is from the Praise and Harmony workshop that we had a church two weekends ago. It was great!!! Keith Lancaster came to teach us some new songs and we had a wonderful time. This picture is from Sunday morning, but we had a session on Saturday night and another one on Sunday night. Keith is so very talented and everyone sounded great!!

Then this past weekend Ruby was kind enough to open her home to the ladies...we got together on Saturday afternoon for a FesTEAvial and Luncheon at the Harvey's. As you can see by the pictures, we had a great time...food, fellowship and even a little "dress up"!! Thanks Ruby, it was great and we love you!

Check out these ladies in their very fashionable hats, shawls and gloves!!

Day Trip the the Caverns

Well, our Saturday started with a couple of errands and then we set off for an adventure. We decided to take a drive over toward the Shenandoah Mountains.

Our first stop was a little town called Sperryville, where we had lunch at Rae's. It was just a little local place but it was wonderful!! The food was great and the people were so friendly...we highly recommend it if you ever find yourself in Sperryville.

Then it was on to the Caverns. They were totally cool!! There were great formations and we had a great time listening to all the different stories.

After we finished the tour through the Caverns we took a drive on Skyline Drive. The leaves are not at their peak yet but there were some beautiful views just the same.

At the end of our day...you guessed it...we found a Cracker Barrel!! Now we couldn't think of any better way to finish a great day than to have a meal there.
